Hi all, just a quick update to what i've been up to lately. Well I drove my Portuguese car back to Portugal seing I hadnt used it for over 2 years and it was just depreciating plus it was time to put UK registration on it which I didnt want to do seing its left hand drive so not a good idea. I drove to Plymouth with a friend and crossed the bay of Biscay which took 19 hours on an amazing ferry with Pools, 4 bars and 3 restaurants not to mention cinema, duty free shops, exchange bureau etc. so you can all imagine the outcome of that night!! Felt very precious the next morning...
I had an amazing time in Portugal being with all my friends and my parents seing I hadnt been there for over a year and a half due to all the renovations here on the house we bought.
This very unfortunately was all spoilled on the day when I came back because my darling mother recieved her normal 3 month check ups and her cancer very sadly has come back now being in the liver and most likely the bones so I came home and cried for 2 entire days! It's soo hard, no one deserves it let alone my Mum who has done everything right and cared for her health all her life and who is so important to us. I am feeling better now and full of strenghth for her and we have been through it all before so we have made a point that it will not spoil anything and we, specailly her will fight it back with all our strenghth. She has a couple of more exams to do in order for a plan of action to be drawn out but she definately will have to do Chemo again which is awful and makes her nervous but she is strong and I'm proud of her and am sure she will pull through it again and as long as its necessary.
Well, thats all for now and will keep in touch most likely the majority of you I'll see soon. All the best. Carlos ;-)
Sempre em altos vôos?
Quando passas pela terrinha?
Um abraço!
